Friday Deliveries

We already restocked the new MM foam stamps. Our initial shipment arrived and sold out the same day, but we very thoughtfully had already reordered the day before the shipment arrived. And that order did arrive today. If you're looking for Simply Fab, Mixed, or the new Flowers foam stamps, you can find them here. At least while these ones last...

Enamel and the Like

More shades of scalloped enamel boards arrived, although the pickings are already slim. We have a couple green and a few more 12x12 blue, along with the standard pink ones we like to decorate with Gin-X rub-ons. Also, since our TV project involved those adorable tobacco tins (our new favorite item to embellish), we made sure to have a ready supply on hand to meet the demand. Decorate one or twenty; they are perfect for gift cards, love notes, or a wad of cash. (Pretty please?) Finally, it is not the kitchen sink, but it is the kitchen ceiling. You've seen them in the high end boutiques, cut back and altered to frame a favorite photo. Now find them here in 12x12 size with an embossed primitive heart in the center of the rustic pattern. Tell us you like them and we will order more.

Mo' Bo-Bunny

If you're in the mood for love, you'll be swept away by this new Bo-Bunny line of February 14 paper. Paisley, Cupid, vintage florals, and polka dots abound in this heavy weight double-sided paper. Incredibly, you might also find paper with hearts. Hee.

I'll Take Mine Glazed

Glaze pens in black, white, and clear are here. Write like your usual self, and the magic pen embosses for you. I love them because I am, in fact, embossing-impaired. So I never emboss and scrap.

Stuck on You

Not quite as exciting, but the elusive adhesives have finally made an appearance. We are fully stocked with Tombow Multi, Tombow Mono, Tombow runners and refills, Tombow glue sticks in 2 sizes, embossing tape and sheets, Glossy Accents, Pop-Dots, Glue Dots, Yes! Glue, plus the stuff already in the house. Get thee to adherence double quick!

Rumors in Pink

Is it SHE making an appearance? Keep this site bookmarked for more details, should the rumors prove true.

Creating Keepsakes New Releases

Special Issue of CK: Creative Solutions for Scrapbookers
Solve many of your scrapbooking puzzles with this special issue of CK. Whether you need new ways to use blurry photos, help playing with leftover letters, or want to see how many layouts you can make from one scrapbook page kit, this magazine offers answers.

Supply Savvy: by Erin Lincoln
You've got a stash already-time to use some of those items in new ways. We're collectors of all things tactile, and as much as it gives us great joy to run our fingers through racks of ribbon, bottles of buttons, and reams of rub-ons, it's nice to actually use some of those supplies. Plus, we free up space for all those new things we've been coveting. Everything old is new again with Erin great book on recycling the contents of your scrapbooking hoard!

Breaking News

Stay tuned for more details on our first televised appearance...make a note in your Simple Scrapbooks Planner for Thursday January 26th at 8:30am...more details to follow. And the store will be open at 8am that day!

Sale on 2006 Calendars and Planners

Simple Scrapbooks Planner: OK, I love this planner. It is organized just the way I like it, one month at a time, and even in order! Silly me, I guess that is the idea. While they last, we have placed them on sale at 1/2 price. If I start to write things down in my planner, I might even remember them!

Designing With 2006: I'm not sure it's fair to call this a calendar, since it is so much more. Daily inspiration from a wealth of artists, this collection of pages (one for each day!) is just the thing for your office space. Live your year in amazing layouts and projects, then bind it for a timeless idea book. 1/2 our price, which is also less than 1/2 the suggested retail.

No other discounts or promotions apply to these purchases. Gotta save a little to spend at CHA-Winter, coming at the end of the month!

Special Crop for Tweens and Teens Feb 11th!

We are hosting our first ever Teen/Tween Social Scene on Saturday Feb 11th from 3-5pm. Are your kids looking for a fun activity to help fill a long Saturday afternoon? Open to ages 9-14, this special crop is designed just for the Junior Scrapbooker. Hosted by 12-year-old Kelsey, this fun time includes snacks, laughs, and goodie bags. Bring your own pictures and supplies, and work on your own pages at your own speed. We can run a tab if you need to gather more supplies, and we will find a basket of this 'n that to leave out on the table for sharing. This is not an instructor-led class, so basic scrapbooking skills are required. This is a great chance for your scrapbooker to meet others who share the passion of paper and page-making. $10.

Pocketful of Charm

New charms arrived today: golf clubs, sewing machines, graduation hats and 2006 charms, western charms, valentine's hearts and cupids, cheerleader, and Easter/spring charms. We are sending back the Celtic circle charms that were sent to us instead of the lovely little hearts we'd actually ordered. As much as we love all things Irish, we could not think of what to do with a gross of the circles!

Goals for 2006

I like goals more than I like resolutions. When I set a goal, I feel like I am moving towards something. When I make a resolution, I feel like I am trying to leave something behind. Perspective is helpful to me and makes me feel more positive. As Martha says, it's a good thing.

May your 2006 be full of goals reached, resolutions accomplished, and pages completed.

And if you just want to know about PRODUCT:
  • New ScrapWorks Rubons are in. Collect all 6 themes.
  • Flocks of Valentine papers have been ordered and are expected to arrive momentarily.
  • The Joy of CardMaking idea book arrived and is nearly depleted already.
  • Bazzill Chip Toppers are back in stock after a brief absence. Now you can thank people and wish them a Happy Birthday again.

C3 Days on Tuesdays continue into February. Every Tuesday, we will redeem one competitor's coupon per customer for up to 40% off the regular price of any in-stock item. Some limitations may apply, but mostly, we just want to celebrate Tuesdays with everyone!

White Elephant Crop Jan 27th 6-11:30pm

Trying to dig your way out of a pile of Jolee's? Are all your alpha stickers just sticking to each other instead of going on pages? Feeling more like a collector of supplies than an actual scrapbooker?

If one of your favorite activities is poking through other people's supplies, this may be the event for you: our first ever WHITE ELEPHANT crop.

You bring a grab bag of scrapbook supplies and participate in a White Elephant Exchange with others who have brought their own selection of grab bag items. You can pass on those embellishments you just know you'll never use, like that sticker sheet about Texas or the "sticker tape" that you snagged when it was on clearance because the packaging was so cute. Now, you might receive in return something really cool, like a "Snow Much Fun" Tag Topper or a collection of Extreme Eyelets (!) and then again, you might have your next White Elephant selection already prepared for you. Hee.

So bring your best pal, a cool beverage, a really REALLY good sense of humor, and sign up for Natalie's Friday Night White Elephant Social. Chances are, you'll have a Jolee good time.

Happy 2006 !!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone believe that another year has come and went all ready?? Me either, but I guess that means we are getting older the faster the years pass us by. Time for New Years Resolutions having to deal with organization, time management, self improvement and the No. 1 resolution of all: making more time for SCRAPBOOKING.

Stop by the store to get the January calendar, get yourself signed up for all those Friday night socials and add a few classes to your busy schedule. After the paper sale last week, we need to get to ordering NEW paper and wonderful embellishments........but that will probably wait for Suzy when she gets back. Oh, but don't worry we have a list a mile long for her to start with. Then before you know it January will practically be over and off to CHA we go. How I can't wait for the fun to begin? All the new product and paper to see, the Make & Takes as Earlene says are "Fun with lots of product for FREE", and the big decisions as to what we should order!!!!!!
