Random Cool Stuff in the Store

There's all kinds of new product in the store, and as I wandered up and down the racks of paper yesterday, I realized that you would not know exactly what I mean unless you have been here recently. So:

• Mini tins for gift cards, alterations, invitations, and just because they are cute. Now available in the usual gray metal as well as the shabby chic of cream



• Pebbles foam stamps in a few new fonts



• Tim Holtz Cropper Hopper metal storage cases for stamps, alcohol inks, dabbers, and the like. They are cool enough looking as they come, but use your contents of the storage to alter the outside for some really stunning works of art.



• PVA: we love it, we need it, we have it by the oz or the gallon



• DVD tins: Where else you gonna find these for $2.99 per each?



• Kraft Klub pink lunch tins: Just when you think you've seen cute, uh, cuter.
  
  
• Bazzill Quotes: fun and colorful images and sayings on gorgeous textured cardstock.




• Daisy D's: besides all the wonderful papers, check out the coordinating die cuts and journal tags. And the rub-ons are bold and chock full of images and words that will place the correct emphasis on each syllable. I loved them already but was not prepared for how much more I would love to use them. Repeatedly.



• Rusty Pickle ginormous chipboard letters: Here is where you use the positive and the negative of the letter to stretch your stash. And c'mon, they're 99 cents per letter. Imagine what you could spell!



• The entire Destinations line from Making Memories: If you've been traveling as much as me, you know it's time to gather round the travel embellishments and just load up. Fun summer and travel letters, albums, page kits, clips, and kitchen sinks. OK not that last one. But almost.




• Anthologie (AKA Bay Boxes) in artful green. I made that up. But they are a lovely shade of green.



• 7Gypsies summer stock: new paper, new embellishments, new clear stamps, matchbook kits, ATC cards, albums, gem brads, gaffer tape, and all kinds o' open stock buckles, handles, and what-have-yous.



• Real.Life.Scrapbooking by Rebecca Cooper (SS) I picked this idea book up the other day, partly because Stacy Julian is my personal hero, and this is a Simple Scrapbooks publication, so there is just one degree of separation there. Alright, I have to admit that every time I look at a picture of Rebecca Cooper, I think she is totally the doppelganger for Lili Taylor, but maybe that's just all in my head. Lili aside, I really appreciate the focus in this book on scrapping real life, everyday life, and in very simple, clean lines. I think I could use this book to complete pages, but even if not, I am finding it most inspirational. Choir?

• Urban Lily: You are not interested in the back story as to why it has taken me since February to bring in these papers, chipboard circles, and rubons, but suffice to say, the order is here and you should come in and get one of everything. The patterned papers are just gorgeous and perfect for magnet boards, and the cutouts are just what you need for mini books and embellishment layering.
